The BJP Govt of Haryana has decided to end the Interview Process in the Selection of Grade 3 and 4 Posts in Govt Jobs. The decision was taken in the cabinet meeting. The main objective is to minimize corruption and bring transparency in the Recruitment Process in the state.
In a way, Manohar Lal Khattar led Govt has followed the Union Govt’s decision regarding the scrapping of the Interviews. It is worth-mentioning that PM Modi had also advocated the demolishing of interview process for such posts citing incidents of corruption.
Haryana has been notorious in the selection procedures. There have been allegations and charges of corruptions against the Congress and INLD. Everybody knows the importance of money, nepotism and political references in each and every selection in the state. Even the caste plays an important role in the selection in the state.
Fault in the Interview System –
Interviews are always seen with the suspicious eyes. The candidates who have done good in the written tests go ironically down when final merit is prepared after the interview. Such candidates do abysmally poor in the interviews. However, those down in the written test come out victorious after the interview. A no of vacancies suffered due to this anomalies in the written test and interview and cases are on the High Court.
Is this ruling applicable on the current Recruitment ?
No, this ruling is not applicable on the current recruitment. But the future recruitment of grade 3 and 4 posts shall be sans interviews. Therefore the candidates who have taken tests of HSSC Patwari, Clerks etc must be ready for the interview process.
Views of the candidates –
All the job-seeking youths unanimously welcome this move of the govt. They are quite sanguine that this move shall pave the path of genuine recruitment and only eligible and deserving candidates shall grab the jobs.
